Are you a women or do you know and love someone who is?
Ok, now that I’ve maybe gotten your attention…
I’ve thought a lot about sharing this information in the last few weeks and how I should share it. I’ve considered that some people may look at it as “TMI” but I feel it’s too important to NOT just SHARE. My goal, as with everything I post, is to help my friends and family start taking a deeper look at things they are doing.

I spent over 20 years of never giving this a second thought. Now, it’s something I think about A LOT.

So, here it is… have you ever thought about using Organic Feminine Products vs the standard commercial brands we (as ladies) have grown up familiar with based on all of the TV commercials and coupons offered for popular brands? Side note, NO, I’m not now in the Feminine Product business, (HA!) but as I’ve started having more conversations with people about this and doing my own research, this is something we need to take more seriously.

I’ve attached an image to get my immediate points across… (because my brain likes “right-to-the point” info with bullets and pictures. Click the picture above to view larger.

This is not meant to be a full-blown article. I have included some links to some additional articles that are easy to read and right to the point that you might find helpful at the bottom of this post.

Also, like I mentioned, I’ve also had numerous discussions with quite a few women on this topic. Many have had astounding positive results with reduced (annoying) symptoms associated with “that time of the month” after switching to truly certified, organic cotton products. I also have made the switch myself. There are a few brands that offer “organic cotton” but a great brand I recommend (that was recommended to me by a Lemongrass Sister of mine) is NatraCare. They used certified organic cotton. To my surprise, the cost was not much of a difference. Granted, I could not find these products at a local store (that I will not name) that I am used to visiting multiple times a week… BUT I found them on Amazon and just this week at Vitacost.com.

And GOOD NEWS VitaCost is ALSO running all of their Feminine care products for 42% off. Until TOMORROW 8/19/15 at 9am you can ALSO get an EXTRA 12% off using code “12Extra8.”
On top of that, you get FREE SHIPPING at a $49 order.
VitaCost.com
(No, I have no affiliation with them, I just find great products on there for great prices.)

ON TOP OF THAT, if you utilize a 3rd party cash-back site like Ebates, (I do) you also get 4% Cash Back on your Vitacost order. HELLO! I just did the extra savings for you. TAKE ADVANTAGE OF IT! 🙂  I saved $34.36 on my order yesterday. (Can you hear me patting myself on the back? HA!)

If you do not have an EBATES account and want to sign up, follow the link below to sign up. It’s FREE
I get a check for about $10 – $15 on average a month. NOT a huge amount, obviously… but if I’m going to shop online anyway, why would I NOT want some money back for doing it? No brainer.

I hope generates some more conversation. Let me know your thoughts and please share. You never know who this might really resonate with.
